Q: Are you a travel agent?
Most certainly not. We are not selling "packaged" tours, nor do we get commissions from hotels, airlines, resorts, or tour operators. We build you a 100% customized itinerary to fit your travel style and what the destination can offer. We will do the research, read the reviews, and provide you with recommendations -- but at the end of the day, you make the final decisions and the bookings yourself.

We've never had good experiences with travel agents, so we have learned to do all our planning ourselves. Sometimes specific expeditions or activities may require going through a booking agent, but we always try to book direct to minimize additional costs.

Q: I haven't even picked a destination yet. Can you help?
During our initial consultation, we can discuss what kind of holiday you're looking for (beach, active, eco-adventure, culture, etc.) and provide suggestions, given our experience. However, we start research for customers only when they have decided on a destination. Otherwise, it's just too broad and time consuming.

Q: Can you help me find flights using my airline miles?
We have lots of experience using our airline miles (we travel a lot for work) but bear in mind it is quite labor intensive and it requires a lot of flexibility when it comes to dates and destinations, which is why this is included in our Emperor Package. We recommend that you be willing to book these flights a year in advance (most airlines release seats 330 days in advance), especially if you want those business class seats. Economy seats are a bit easier to secure, but you're still limited by availability and be prepared for some interesting routings/long layovers.

Q: Are you taking on new clients?
We maintain a high standard of quality and our time is also limited (we have to plan our own trips, after all!). Sometimes we're just not able to take on new customers. Contact us for an initial consultation.

Q: What does "D.I.N.K." stand for?
Double Income, No Kids.  ;-)  If you're looking for help booking that perfect "kid friendly" holiday, you may have better luck elsewhere. We focus on travellers looking for adventure, good food, and a bit of luxury.
